Jim Johnstone, 1937-2008

Jim Johnstone was one of Scotland's finest accordion players and his Scottish Dance band were renowned as one of the finest Ceilidh bands around.

Having played in the legendary Jimmy Shand's band for a time, Jim was fortunate to gain an insight into a great amount of Jimmy's compositions.

Jim appears on the compilation CD 'A Celebration Of Scottish Music' (Temple Records COMD2003)
